With Rick Santorum dropping out and Ron Paul and Newt Gingrich failing to make headway, Mitt Romney has secured the Republican Presidential nomination. The son of a congressman from Detroit, Michigan will be facing off against Barack Obama, the incumbent.
The Republican race for a nomination has been truly an interesting set of events. Surprises and muckraking have been the theme as Romney won states like Illinois and Massachusetts. He has made appearances in Chicago, Obama’s hometown, and gathered quite a following in United States.
Now that it’s all said and done and the republican dropouts will be endorsing Romney to take the White House, they can relax for a few weeks and party in vehicles like elitechicagolimo. They may even hit a party bus in Chicago or rent out a limousine in Windy City. Romney’s team better make the most of the next few weeks because the upcoming few months will be the greatest challenge him and his family will ever face in their lives.
It is not easy to take down the powerhouse of Barrack Obama. He has supporters and fundraisers from all over the world. He also boasts an entourage of marketing teams and advertisers that could make Pepsi and Coke appear like the organic drinks of choice to the populous. Obama is also an incredible orator who appeals to nearly every demographic group and can really rile up a crowd.
Mitt Romney, on the other hand, has just swapped places from a power house to an underdog, whether he would like to admit it or not. His strength is also his greatest weakness. The fact that he is a multimillionaire who lives a lavish life and rides in a limousine on a daily basis does not bode well with Americans who are struggling to get by in this dismal economy.
In order to challenge Obama, Mitt Romney will have to rise as a leader who is capable of leading America back to its economic dominance at a middle class level. If he can succeed in convincing the voting population to that, he will stand a chance. Otherwise, Obama’s charisma and political advantages will hail him the victor.
